HEAVY METAL SEND-OFF FOR IVAN & NIVARA LOUNGE!
After nearly 30 years of hosting legendary underground gigs down the Victoria Street stairs, the iconic Nivara Lounge is preparing for its final chapter. The New Zealand metal community is coming together for one massive night to blow the roof off the basement and give a proper, heavy send-off to the venue and its incredible owner, Ivan Muir.Ivan has been the absolute heart of Hamilton’s underground music scene. Now, it’s our turn to show our respect, raise a glass, and pack out the room for one last unforgettable night of chaos.
We’ve assembled a brutal, cross-country lineup of heavy hitting bands to make sure we send Nivara out with maximum volume.
