This will also be the first opportunity for many visitors to see the ‘Meadow of Memories’ sculpture and discover the Cathedral’s ‘fluffle’ of small sculptures.
Created by local artist Julia Stafford, the ‘Meadow of Memories’ sculpture is adorned with vibrant, hand-painted leaves, each dedicated to a loved one, and watched over by Peter Rabbit himself. It offers a special place for families and visitors to pause, reflect and capture a memorable photograph while enjoying the trail.
Peter Rabbit™: Tales on the Tyne is presented by and raising funds for St Oswald’s Hospice, partnering with creative producers Wild in Art, The World of Peter Rabbit and Headline Partners Newcastle City Council. Specific activities are organised by Newcastle Cathedral and are not coordinated by St Oswald’s Hospice or its partners.
