Ever wondered what happens inside a beehive?
Join us this summer for a fun, family-friendly beekeeping experience at Gees Bees Honey Company. Watch real beekeepers at work, learn how honey is made, discover the fascinating world of honeybees, and get up close to one of nature's most important pollinators. Recommended for ages 6 and up.
During your visit, you'll:
🍯 Learn how a honeybee colony works
🐝 Discover the roles of the queen, workers, and drones
🌼 Find out why pollinators are essential to our food supply
👩🌾 Meet experienced beekeepers and ask your bee questions
📸 Suit up and hold a frame of bees (weather and bee conditions permitting)
This outdoor experience takes place at our honey farm in Ottawa and lasts approximately 45 minutes. Guests are welcome to browse our honey shop before or after their tour.
