Dance Lab is a project by Second Echo Ensemble and House of Dance. It is a space for artists - and lovers of movement- who want to move, experiment, play, test limits and explore their own way of dancing.When? Fridays 1:00-2:30pm starting February 6, 2026
Why Dance Lab?
Because, this isn’t a “class.” This is a lab - a place to discover what your body can do, to build movement ideas, to take risks, to leap into the unknown, to fly, to create work that’s real, unruly, alive.
Who can join?
Everyone: all backgrounds, all bodies, all levels. You don’t need perfect technique - just curiosity and a body that wants to move. All movers under 16 must attend with an adult.
How to book?
You can book for one week - choose the ticket type with that date. Or you can book for the whole term.
Access
We welcome Companion Card holders. If you hold a valid Australian Companion Card, your support person can attend with you at no cost. The Companion Card holder needs to purchase a paid ticket and be attending the Dance Lab with their companion there to support them. Choose the Companion Card option when booking, or get in touch if you’d like to talk it through. We’re happy to help.
