Still life can be pretty, busy, and sometimes spooky. Explore examples of this artform in a short tour with Museum Educator, Cherish Christopher. Then create your own twenty-first-century still life! You’ll arrange various backdrops and objects – from fruit and a fake skull to a Stanley tumbler and a Squishmallow – and capture them with your phone camera. Real cameras are also welcome, but no additional equipment, please.
No experience necessary. Ages 19 and up welcome.
