About this Event
So you've likely heard that sedges have edges, but where do you go from there? Join the North Central Florida CISMA for a day of hands-on learning with two experts, Dr. Lucas Majure and Erick Revuelta, who will teach us about these oft-overlooked plants and how to identify some of the major groups of sedges which grow in Florida.
The day's activities will include lectures from our experts, hands-on time with sedges and microscopes, and an optional walk through the nearby Natural Areas Teaching Laboratory (NATL), an outdoor preserve where we will get to see some sedges (and other things!) in their natural habitat.
