For decades, farmers have been disappearing from Iowa's landscape while agricultural production has soared. Family-run operations have been replaced by monopoly-controlled factory farms that pollute our land, poison our water, and devastate rural communities, with very little oversight. The Secretary of Agriculture has a key role to play in addressing these issues.
