On July 11 at 8AM, The Nanson is hosting a Secret Sunrise session exclusively for members and a sprinkling of guests. For one morning you can peak into the beautiful space made for connection and comfort.

What is Secret Sunrise?

Every human needs joy. Not as a reward. Not as a luxury. As a baseline.

Secret Sunrise was born in Africa as an outreach programme — and what it discovered was simple and a little radical. Three ingredients. Music, movement and connection — connection to yourself, and connection to the people around you.

From that foundation, something spread. 25+ cities. Hundreds of events. Beaches, parks, rooftops, boardrooms. Because joy isn't complicated. We just forgot how to make space for it.

Here's how it works. You arrive. You put on a pair of wireless headphones. Everyone in the room is on the same channel — same music, same moment, same facilitator guiding you through. And then you move. However that looks for you.

There are no rules. No dance experience required. No right way to do this.

You can sway and close your eyes and let the music find you. Or you can go completely wild — full expression, no apology. Both are the point. Both get you there. Because dance isn't about looking good. It's proven to help you connect with your body, regulate your nervous system, and unlock the kind of playfulness that makes everything — creativity, connection, presence — flow more easily.

Secret Sunrise facilitators hold the space throughout. They guide, they prompt, they invite. This is your experience. They just create the container for it.
