Come celebrate the reopening of The Lost Church - Santa Rosa with a benefit for Redwood Empire Food Bank featuring Sonoma County's own Ryan Woodard, Nicco Weisskoff & Ellie James, 3-time 2025 Norbay Award Winner! These three brilliant songwriters will be trading tunes and stories "in the round" all night. Stylistically unique and captivating, Ellie James mixes lush indie-pop sounds with the style and edge of her rock ’n’ roll background. Her music is both genuine and dance-inducing, as she uses real instruments and electronic production to weave musical stories all her own. Ellie has been performing professionally all over the world for more than 10 years, opening up for Grammy-winning artist Colbie Caillat twice as well as Tim Flannery and David Luning. She has played to electric audiences at Hollywood’s famous Viper Room, San Francisco’s Cafe du Nord, and the Bose Listening Lounge in Kansas City. From 2023-2025, Ellie was named Indie Artist, Singer-Songwriter, and Hardest Working Musician of the Year by the Bohemian’s prestigious NorBay Awards. With the release of her much-anticipated sophomore EP “Favorite Stranger” and a nearly sold-out headlining show at Hopmonk, Ellie shows no signs of stopping with a season ahead full of new shows, new merch, and a new album slated for this summer.
Ryan Woodard is a talented singer/songwriter and multifaceted musician from Sonoma County, California, born into a musical family. Diagnosed with autism at three, music became his solace and sanctuary, helping him find his voice despite being considered nonverbal until age nine. At 11, Ryan shared the stage with blues icon Buddy Guy, marking the start of an extraordinary journey. Ryan's remarkable story has garnered international attention, including features in Guitar World Magazine and a gift of a Martin Guitar from John Mayer. With his dynamic live performances, Ryan is solidifying his place as a rising star in the music industry. His goal in life is to win several Grammys and perform in all the great arenas of the world.
Nicco Weisskoff is a favorite of the north bay music scene who writes melodic, soulful indie folk songs reminiscent of Nick Drake, Elliott Smith and MJ Lenderman.
