Secret Boston Walking Tour of Harvard Square + Historic Dinner

Join Kiernan Schmitt, author of "Secret Boston: An Unusual Guide" for a walking tour of Harvard Square's secret sites. You'll visit an obscure memorial celebrating street performers, a covert message from Harvard University’s most elite secret society, a hidden likeness of Peter Rabbit, and, if time permits, 2 rhinoceroses named for English queens.
Plus you'll meet up with a conservation specialist at the Harvard Art Museum to learn about the Forbes Pigment Collection—an indoor rainbow of historic dyes, paints, and powders.
Afterwards, head back to HSQ for dinner: a special homage to the good-old American fare first served in our location back in 1913. We'll be making hamburgers (veggie-style of course), New England chowder, fries, and mint lemonade.
