Secondary Schools United Nations Symposium

The Secondary Schools United Nations Symposium (SSUNS) is a prominent event aimed at engaging students and educators in discussions around global issues, fostering leadership, and promoting international understanding. This year's symposium takes place at Le Centre Sheraton Montreal Hotel, located in the vibrant city of Montreal, Canada. The event primarily targets teachers and students across Canada, with a specific outreach to participants from Nigeria and Uganda, creating a diverse platform for dialogue and collaboration.
SSUNS is organized by the non-profit organization IRSAM, which is dedicated to enriching the educational experience of high school students through Model United Nations conferences and related activities. This symposium will gather young minds to explore critical global challenges, encouraging them to think critically and engage with complex international topics. The event serves as a crucial opportunity for participants to develop their public speaking, negotiation, and consensus-building skills, which are essential for future leaders in our increasingly interconnected world.
