Connection, art, creativity, music, storytelling, friendships and fun are at the heart of Spun Glass Theatre’s First Workshops for parents and toddlers 19 mths - 3 yrs!

Come join our popular parent and toddler group and explore a variety of different creative activities together every week, including song-singing, music, movement, sensory play, storytelling and much more.

Throughout the term we will work on various artistic projects together as a group, with an exciting 5-week schedule planned. Our workshop leaders will introduce you and your toddler to new activities every week, helping you to discover new experiences together.

Building a friendly, welcoming group:

Raising a toddler can be challenging, but there's no need to feel like you're going through it alone - having a supportive group around you can make all the difference when you are a parent or carer. We create a welcoming, inclusive space where you can choose to be open about the challenges you experience with a little one. Relax, recharge, connect with your toddler, and make new friends.

Do you or your toddler have any additional needs? We can have an open discussion about how we can best support you and adapt our sessions to make sure you feel included and comfortable - just let us know in advance and we can arrange a call.

Run by our highly experienced artists, our Second Workshops are full of sensory activities, exploratory free play, music, movement, engagement, and stories - our focus is to introduce art and culture to your toddler's early years, and help them learn about the world around them in a magical way.

⭐ Sessions last 1hr 30 mins - refreshments are provided.

⭐ This is a 5-week course of workshops - book your space for the whole term.

⭐ Free spaces available for single parents, those under 25 and those on Universal Credit. ⭐TRAVEL BURSARIES ARE ALSO AVAILABLE - we'll help cover the cost of your travel to and from the group each week. Funded by Arts Council England.

Every week, we invite you and your toddler to explore different themes together - themes can include animals, holidays, the sea-side, theatre design, and everything in-between!
