What makes us qualified? What inspired us to launch this meetup? And what do we hope to accomplish doig this in the future?

Our events are for community building, creating awareness for affordable + sustainable living, and cultivating a third place for social hangs, swaps for much needed supplies, tools, and even clothing,which according to the EPA, is one of the world's biggest occupants of waste in our landfills. Clothes and textiles can be reused and recycled in various ways before it ends up in the trash, come learn more about sustainability in fashion and all the creative ways it can be repurposed: tees into totes, totes into hats, and so much more!

Clean out your closets and bring never or lightly worn clothing for someone else to discover, mend to fit them right there in the studio, and/or make + take a matching, custom piece of jewelry with the supplies provided. Get as artistic and expressive as you want with a fresh look!
