Kim will trace the history of Preserve Omaha — from its roots to its role in shaping the built environment of our city today — and share her vision for the future of historic preservation in the Omaha community.
Whether you're a lifelong preservationist or simply someone who loves what makes Omaha's neighborhoods and landmarks unique, this is a talk you won't want to miss.
Kimberly Isherwood is an entrepreneur, author, and intuitive based in Omaha, Nebraska. She is the author of Closure: The Lie We Tell Ourselves and is currently writing a historical fiction novel set in early 1900s Omaha that explores the connection between place, memory, and the unseen threads linking past and present.
She lives in and stewards a historic 1910 home in Omaha, where her passion for preservation and storytelling come together in meaningful and unexpected ways. Through her work and leadership as President of Preserve Omaha, she is dedicated to honoring the city’s architectural heritage while bringing the stories held within its historic places vividly back to life.
Lecture will be in Building 10, room 110.
