Second Sunday Concert Series - Tom Colao & New World Ensemble

Led by returning artist, saxophonist/flutist Tom Colao, this popular group will be performing jazz in the tradition of the jazz greats of the past and present. New World is a polished jazz ensemble of local professional musicians who have performed with Billy Hart, Rufus Reid, Kenny Wheeler, David Schnitter, Oliver Lake, Chuck Mangione, to mention a few. Members perform and teach around the country. The group has developed an enthusiastic following, playing jazz in the tradition of the jazz greats of the past and present. Tom Colao has studied with Paige Brooke NY Philharmonic, jazz great Hubert Law, and has performed with various jazz groups, the Nelson Riddle Orchestra, Temptations, Four Tops, Duprees in addition to recordings, show and theater works.
