Our Second Sunday Concert Series resumes, and Sarah Harrington, Stephen Adam and Daniela Hathaway will perform music by Handel, Schubert and others.
You are invited, and we hope you will come along.

Sarah Harrington studied the Cello at the Royal Academy of Music in London under the Professors Derek Simpson and David Smith. After several years freelancing in London with Orchestras such as Glyndebourne Touring Opera, English Chamber Orchestra, Mozart Festival Orchestra and the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, Sarah returned to Scotland in 1998 to work with the Orchestra of Scottish Opera. Whilst being a current member of the Orchestra of Scottish Opera, Sarah also performs in Chamber Ensembles and teaches at Hutcheson Grammer and Lomond school.

A native of Stirling, Stephen Adam studied both cello and piano at the RSAMD and RNCM, then joined the Orchestra of Scottish Opera in 1980, retiring in 2013 to explore his lifelong loves of chamber and choral music. He performed with various groups on the Music Club circuit and for The Council for Music in Hospitals for 40 years and in 2023 visited Tiblisi’s Conservatoire twice, to coach young singers. He will be adjudicating string and piano classes at next year’s Ayrshire Music Festival and this year hopes to improve his organ playing [with the least amount of practice!]
Daniela Hathaway was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She studied singing at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has performed in the UK, Argentina, France and Mexico. With Trio Alma they have performed all over Scotland and have exciting concerts planned for 2024/25. Alongside singing, Daniela develops and delivers community music projects for primary schools, care homes, people living with Dementia and children with additional needs, most recently she sang at the RSNO concert for people living with Dementia. Daniela currently is one of the vocal leaders for Memory Spinners and Breath cycle with Scottish Opera; she is the singing teacher for RSNO youth chorus and runs children and singing for well-being choirs.
