Greetings Tucson and neighboring residents! We are Second Sky, and we're creating a new kind of community center south of downtown Tucson. Second Sky: Science Garden + Social Club will be built on the Creative Machines campus, where we have been hosting S.T.E.A.M. field trips for the past 5 years. NOW, we're thrilled to announce our plans to move forward with a permanent adventure park and café for kids, parents, teachers, students, artists, engineers, and community members of all ages to play and socialize.
Please join us for our next open house and our 1st "Community Playdate."
- This is a free, all-ages event that will include:
- Family friendly games and activities, including: Pickleball, Fort Building, and the City of Tucson's Ready, Set, Rec! will be there with lawn games and more games for all ages.
- Help us begin to build an official Second Sky Dome and engrave your name on the parts you build.
- Food Trucks include Homemade Mediterranean (with vegan and vegetarian options), You Sly Dog, and Maui Wowi Hawaiian coffees and smoothies.
- Snacks and beverages (both adult beverages and soft drinks) will be available for sale. Proceeds from beverage sales will be donated to help us build Second Sky.
- Entertainment: DJ PABlo Bley will perform his AI + Live DJ sets throughout the event, inside the Second Sky building.
Second Sky is a nonprofit organization.
