Second Skin is an inaugural annual leather runway show celebrating leather as craft, culture, and self-expression across all genders and bodies. This is not a monochrome, one-look runway. It’s about range, intention, and leather that means something.The show features six categories: Classic, Gender Bending, Anything Goes, Any Body All Body, Sunday Morning Leather, and Leather Is Political.
We’re also casting models for the show and would love for you to participate. Models walk in at least two categories (no need to do all), wear leather they already own, and bring their own point of view to the runway. All genders, bodies, and experience levels welcome.
Second Skin is a fundraiser benefiting Nor Cal Resist, supporting civil rights, mutual aid, and social justice work in Northern California.
Leather doesn’t have to be Soviet-style monochrome monotony.
