The Jamming Jean Music Series, named in honor of a former Levy Center member, features music and musicians that reflect Evanston and its cultural diversity.
These Friday night concerts are free and open to all. Bring the family or a friend for a fun way to kick off the weekend! Concerts are held in the Maple Room in March and December, and right outside the Center in James Park in June and September.

Join us Friday, December 13, for a holiday Jamming Jean with Chicago’s dynamic Second Hand Soul Band.
Motown, Funk and Soul define the sound of Second Hand Soul Band, bringing you back to when all that mattered was meeting friends for drinks and dancing all night long! This seasoned, high-energy seven-piece band truly knows how to entertain. From the funky hits of the ’70s and unforgettable one-hit wonders to classic disco and soul, you'll be moved to sing and dance along to “Songs you remember from the nights you don’t!”
Hecky’s will be on site with their ever popular barbecue for cash purchase, and a cash bar will offer wine, beer and water. Grab dinner while you groove to the tunes.
The concert will be held in the Maple Room at the Levy Senior Center from 5 to 7 pm.
