Get ready for a great live band night at The Land Lindy Hop's Second Friday Swing Dance - this time with Bent String! You'll love dancing to this group centered on the vocals of Kari Ann Rutushin and underpinned with the feel of jazz-age swing. Bent String also features Reed Simon’s hot violin, Caroline King's sublime accordion, Kevin Richards' arch-top guitars, and Cleveland Blues Hall of Fame upright bassist, Raymond DeForest.
We'll be in the beautiful ballroom at The Brownhoist, with a 30 minute beginner dance lesson to get the night started.
Doors Open: 6:45pm
Beginner Lesson: 7:00pm
Band Plays: 7:30 - 10:30pm
Entry for the entire event is $20 at the door (cash, Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle). No pre-registration required.
