Get ready for a great live band night at The Land Lindy Hop's Second Friday Swing Dance - this time with Bent String! You'll love dancing to this group centered on the vocals of Kari Ann Rutushin and underpinned with the feel of jazz-age swing. Bent String also features Reed Simon’s hot violin, Caroline King's sublime accordion, Kevin Richards' arch-top guitars, and Cleveland Blues Hall of Fame upright bassist, Raymond DeForest.We'll be in the beautiful ballroom at The Brownhoist, with a 30 minute beginner dance lesson to get the night started.
Doors Open: 6:45pm
Beginner Lesson: 7:00pm
Band Plays: 7:30 - 10:30pm
Entry for the entire event is $20 at the door (cash, Venmo, Paypal, or Zelle). No pre-registration required.
Come join The Land Lindy Hop for a great night of LIVE music suitable for Lindy Hop, Charleston, Balboa, and more at the historic Brownhoist ballroom. All are welcome! No partner or experience necessary!
Free parking is available in the lot at the corner of St. Clair and E. 45th, as well as on surrounding streets.
