Science in Pop Culture Series: Lord of the Rings
Friday, October 10, 2025 from 6-7 p.m. @ Longway Planetarium
Join us for this month’s Second Friday presentation as we look at the astronomy and cosmology of J.R.R Tolkein’s trilogy, ”Lord of the Rings.” This will be part one of a two-part series where we discuss how Tolkein’s astronomy mythology connects to real world astronomy and myths.
Live lectures start promptly at 6 p.m., there will be no late seating. Please arrive 15 minutes early for best seating.
