We're honored to welcome the area's premier mixed voice acapella chorus back for their annual holiday concert. The 2nd City Chorus was founded in 1996 and has earned the distinction as one of Rockford’s outstanding musical ensembles. The men and women of the 2nd City Chorus come from all walks of life - they are teachers, engineers, salespersons, pilots, mechanics, counselors, doctors, nurses and retirees. The one thing they have in common is a tremendous love for music in the Barbershop style! Learn more: https://2ndcitychorus.com/ Daylight is short, and most of our Concerts On The Creek (including this one) will be matinees that run from 3pm until about 5pm. Doors open at 2pm. Packaged snacks and bottled soft drinks will be available. There is no admission charge, but goodwill donations from the audience pay the musicians and help to defray the church's event hosting costs. Attendance is limited to 150. Those who wish guaranteed general seating regardless of what time they arrive may make an early donation in the form of a $5 ticket at https://www.zeffy.com/.../584c4425-a169-4999-a2c1... . The recommended donation for non-reserved walk-in guests is $10, but any amount is appreciated. We offer free off-street parking for 95 vehicles and our all-on-one-floor listening area is easily accessible; acoustics are excellent.
