Veteran Songwriters:
Jason Justice: Jason Justice is an Alabama man with southern charm and virtue that is evident throughout his music. After his discharge from the Navy, a combat war veteran, he fine tuned his musical ability on the guitar and harmonica and has been playing for more than 10 years. Jasonโs wit and humor offer his unique perspectives on lifeโs experiences delivered through a gritty country crunch.
Kevin Swanson: Like many singer/songwriters that came before him, Kevin was born and raised in the state of Texas. He grew up in Humble Texas, a town just Northeast of Houston. It was here that his love for music came to light. As fate would have it, he received his first guitar at 8 years old and started writing songs at age 15. Upon graduating High School, Kevin joined the United States Navy, and in October of 2018, he completed 14 years of Active Duty service. During his time in the Navy, he was able to hone his songwriting craft into what it is today.
Justin Touchette: Justin "Peg" Touchette is an up and coming singer/songwriter & musician that grew up in the Texas, Illinois, Missouri, Tennessee, and Arkansas. After High School, Justin joined the military serving in both the Air Force and Army for a total of 12 years with deployments to Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan. During his time in the military, he learned how to play the drums, and played in various bands to include a church band in Afghanistan. In 2011, Justin was forced to medically retire from the Military due to injuries obtained from his Military service, which eventually led to amputation of his right foot in 2016. That's how the nickname "Peg" came about!
Coping with the loss of his career and his leg, Justin battled with PTSD and depression, which eventually led to him attempting to take his own life not once, but twice.
It wasn't until he picked up a guitar in 2018, that Justin found that purpose and peace heโd been looking so hard for. Since 2018, "Peg" has penned over 50 orignal songs that are craftly written with much intent to feel the exact pain he experienced. He has also been apart of many co-writes with incredible songwriters from all over! In 2021 Justin was invited to become the newest songwriter of the Frank Brown International Songwriters Festival. These Days, you can find "Peg" telling his story thru lyrics and melody anywhere from Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Florida and more.
