Second Annual Norteño Fest

Food lovers, music fans and Western culture enthusiasts are invited to celebrate Mexican tradition at the Second Annual Norteño Fest, presented by Tu Asador, on Sunday, March 29 from 2–7 p.m. at the San Antonio Charro Association (6126 Padre Dr., San Antonio). The festival features a high-energy carne asada and discada cook-off with 10+ teams competing for top honors, plus traditional charreada and bull riding, escaramuza equestrian performances, folkloric dance, and live music. Kids are welcome to enjoy the petting zoo, face painting, and pony rides. Kids 12 and under are free.
