SecKC November 2026 Meeting
Wes Peck kicks things off with AI-Driven Attacks at the Kernel Level. AI is putting kernel-level attack techniques in a lot more hands, and Wes is walking through what those attackers can do from down there and how to catch them, all built on his own research and real field work.
Then Mick Baccio, former White House Threat Intelligence Branch Chief and presidential campaign CISO, brings MO votes, MO problems. It lands one week after Election Day, and it's a lighthearted trip through the weird history of American elections: why we vote on Tuesdays, what a caucus even is, and why your local elections matter. We already meet on Patch Tuesday, so we have a soft spot for Tuesdays.
It's also SWAPVEMBER! Clean out the closet and bring your old computers, books, stickers, gadgets, and mystery cables to trade after the meeting. Non-tech stuff is welcome too.
