This is the official page for SEB Investment Challenge 2025 & the gasque.
The major success is finally back, this time with a massive warm welcome to our new participant: Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law! Uppsalaekonomerna are excited to invite all of you to participate in the SEB Investment Challenge 2025!
A competition between six universities: Uppsala University, Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law, Stockholm University, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Linköping University and Lund University.
Everyone is welcome to join the competition. Regardless if you are an expert, intermediate or complete beginner, it is a perfect opportunity to try out what it is like to invest in stocks, without using your own money! Don't miss the opportunity to participate in one of Uppsalaekonomerna’s biggest events this spring and get the chance to network with fellow students at other top Swedish universities!
Your objective is to choose three stocks that you think will perform strongly during the coming six weeks. The criteria is that the stocks are listed on: OMX Stockholm Large Cap and/or Mid Cap, as well as S&P 500. This is to eliminate the risk of stocks exposed to market manipulation and volatility in penny stocks. The contestant with the highest return between the 3rd of February and the 28th of March will take home the grand prize.
By entering the competition you will also have the great opportunity to attend the final Gasque where the winners will be announced. The Gasque will be held together with all participating universities at a fantastic gasque at the classical Norrlands Nation on 4th of April.
Note: to attend the Gasque, it is required that you sign up for the competition, so make sure that you do! Tickets will be sold separately in the near future.

Main prices based on return:
1st place: 7 500 SEK giftcard & a visit to SEB's Equity department.
2nd place: 3 000 SEK giftcard & a visit to SEB's Equity department.
3rd place: 1 000 SEK giftcard & a visit to SEB's Equity department.
4th-10th place: Goodiebags
There will also be great weekly prizes!
(OPTIONAL) Stock motivation/analysis, choose at least one stock and write no more than 1 page per stock (Word). Don’t miss the opportunity to showcase your analytical skills and compete for extra prizes! These include a visit to SEB's Equity department.
