Join us for our twice-monthly Arts&Sciences meetings, held every first and third Monday of the month, at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Corpus at 6901 Holly Rd in Corpus Christi, from 6-10pm. There you can meet our artisans and see the various crafts they engage in, and they are more than willing to teach you if you wish to learn.
For those that are unable to attend in person, we will have a live Zoom chat open during the meeting, the link will be posted shortly before that evening's meeting; the only issue is that the chat will time-out after 40 minutes, but we'll reopen it with a new link just a few minutes afterwards so no-one misses anything. ?
The SCA/Seawinds does not charge for participation, however, the UUCC asks that we pay $25 a month to use the facilities for these Monday meetings, so if you wish to contribute, that would be appreciated. They also do not allow alcohol on the premises, and please clean up your mess before you leave.
Masks are RECOMMENDED but NOT required for indoor and outdoor activities.
Social distancing is RECOMMENDED.
Food and drink (other than bottled waters) will NOT be provided by the Shire but individuals may bring their own and may share if they choose to at their own risk.
Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to try to ensure the health and safety of our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any additional steps to protect your health and safety and those under your control as you believe to be necessary.
