Seaweed Pressing and Soap Making

Take a stroll along the shore with us to explore the wonderful world of seaweed! Using our findings, we’ll be creating some picture-perfect seaweed pressings as well as a set of beautiful soaps.

What's at the Living Seas Centre?

The Living Seas Centre is an education centre near South Landing, Flamborough. There's plenty to explore in the area, from rockpooling at South Landing, to discovering the amazing 'seabird city' at Flamborough Cliffs nature reserve further around the headland.

What to bring/wear

This event takes place both inside and outside so brace yourself for the Yorkshire weather! We'd recommend wearing something you don't mind getting dirty, sturdy and waterproof footwear or wellies, and lots of layers.

Toilets and catering

There are toilets at the Living Seas Centre that are open everyday. Please note the cafe will not be open on this day.
