About this Event
Join us for for 3 engaging dialogues as we delve into the Evolution of Seattle's Venture Ecosystem. This in-person event is your chance to hear from leaders that have been active in Seattle’s venture, startup and innovation ecosystems since the 90s.
The discussion will partially cover how Seattle grew from a “sleepy town” (as Tom Alberg described it in his book Flywheels) to one of the tech capitals of the world. It will compare and contrast Seattle’s venture ecosystem in the 90s and post-dot-com-bust to the most recent markets. Finally, it will cover where the ecosystem is today, where it’s heading and some of the opportunities that lie ahead.
The conversations will be followed by 3 pitches from the founders of early-stage Seattle-based startups. The 3 startups are AeonCharge, Universe and PerfectRec.
