SEATTLE SONS brings an exciting catalog of hits and deep cuts back to life in tribute to the grunge movement and ‘90s rock.
Formed in Syracuse, NY in 2018, SEATTLE SONS keeps the spirit of Sludge City alive, reliving songs of the greats from the era ... Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Smashing Pumpkins ... alongside their peers and other bands spawned from the same mold ... Foo Fighters, Audioslave, Mad Season ...
The 90’s was a time of immense change; a new alternative arrived from Seattle, WA, and brushed aside the glam and hair bands of the 80’s with a new aesthetic and a fresh honesty in the music they created. Many of those legends are no longer with us. Not content to be ‘just another garage band,’ SEATTLE SONS revives their anthems with same raucous energy and engaging performances that fans came to expect of the original artists.
The SONS are four central New York area music veterans with over a century of experience between them, having toured the country, played iconic stages like Woodstock ’99, performed live with industry legends like Heart and John Popper (Blues Traveler) and recorded with veteran greats like Greg Hawkes (The Cars) and Liberty DeVitto (Billy Joel). They lived the era that had grunge for its soundtrack and bring all that sound and fury back to the present, just like you remember.
