Discover The Italian Festival LIVE at Seattle Center: the largest Italian American event in the Northwest, and one of the largest cultural festivals in the state of Washington.

Presented by Seattle Center Festál in partnership with Festal Italiana, The Italian Festival features art, music, food, dance and participatory activities for the entire family. Celebrating the cultural roots of Italians and Italian-Americans in the Pacific Northwest, The Italian Festival is a chance to gather together again.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS:

• “Great Italian Chefs” Cooking Stage: Learn culinary secrets from the masters at these popular cooking demos outdoors in the piazza, starring local chefs from Seattle’s best Italian restaurants.
• Music: From tarantellas to opera, from traditional to Dino & Frank, it’s Italian music all day, both days, on the Moretti Mainstage in the Fisher Pavilion. Also, enjoy strolling musicians in the big outdoor Wine & Beer Garden.
• Festa Grape Stomp: Jump in with both feet and make wine as they used to in the Old Country. Put together a three-person team and compete for great prizes with a free T-shirt given to each competitor.
• Festa Bocce Tournament: Moving back to the Main Level of the Seattle Center Armory, this Italian version of lawn bowling is one of the festival’s most popular events. Featuring a Masters division for professionals and a Recreational division for occasional players, it’s fascinating to watch.
• Tino’s Cortile: Featuring traditional children’s activities, plus the "All Breeds" Italian Dog Show.
• Exhibits: An Italian Car Show, "34 Years of Festa Posters" Art Show, and the Historical Photo Exhibit about Seattle’s earliest Italians plus booths of Italian organizations, arts and crafts, imported housewares, and lots of merchandise and souvenirs.
• Food & Wine: Pizza, Pasta, Italian Sausage, Salami, Meatballs, Focaccia, Gelato, Birra, Vino, Prosecco, Limoncello, Cannoli, Espresso, Italian Sodas, and three Wine & Beer Gardens!

The Italian Festival is part of Seattle Center Festál 2021, a year-long series of festivals to connect people in ways that build understanding, dispel stereotypes and generate pride among the generations who participate in these shared experiences. The series began in 1997 to offer a central place for festivals to invite the public to join in their unique cultural expressions. Seattle Center Festál is Where the World Gathers, and is produced with the generous support of T-Mobile, 4Culture, the City of Seattle and Seattle Center Foundation.
