We are so excited to announce these two fantastic interactive clinics for both participants and auditors with the wonderful Sue Martin. Come and spend a few days with us at our beautiful facility in Elizabeth, hopefully we have perfect weather and can ride, sit, watch and chat underneath the pine trees and learn a ton!Sue designed and conducted these clinics in California to great reviews. You do not have to attend both days but this format is a weekend/ day long learning clinic. All auditors and participants are expected to attend the morning lecture and demo and then if you can, stay to keep learning from each rider for the day. If you can attend both days, that gives you maximum learning opportunities and the best chance to fully understand the bigger picture.
Day 1 is the 'Seat' Clinic. This begins with a lecture addressing sitting well biomechanics and common ( and not so common) habits and problems. Sue will use some demo riders to explain and show how the rider's influence can be positive or not.
This is followed by 30 minute sessions with riders/ participants where I work on helping the rider attain better security, better position and help identify and change bad habits. Auditor participation and interactive exercises help attendees develop a good eye and better understanding of what they want to do on the back of a horse.
Day 2 is 'The Aids' Clinic. This begins with a lecture addressing the aids, the biomechanics and again, common ( and not so common) habits and problems. Sue will use some demo riders to explain and show how the rider's influence can be positive or not.
This is followed by 30 minute sessions with riders/ participants where Sue works on the influence the aids have, refinements and changing habits. As before; auditor participation and interactive exercises help all attendees develop a good eye and better understanding of how their aids affect negatively or positively on the horse.
Costs are as follows:
Both days as a participant = $370
Both days Auditor = $70
One day participant = $195
One day Auditor = $40
