Season's Greetings: Taking Care at Christmas

This session is part of Wirral Mind's Autumn/Winter Wellbeing sessions. Please note - when you have booked a ticket through eventbrite, we will ask you to complete an additional booking form. This will be sent to the email you provide us with here. We will not be able to confirm your space on the course until the booking form has been completed.

The festive period can be a bittersweet time for many of us and we need to be more vigilant than usual in taking care of our physical and mental health.

In this workshop we will explore the challenges and difficulties of staying well at this time of year, and consider the ways we can minimise burnout, overwhelm or loneliness.

We will take a fun and creative look at the things we love and hate about the festivities and consider the ways we can support and nurture ourselves, sharing ideas and tips for the things we already do and considering the possibility of new ones.

We will explore how we can build up our emotional resilience and sustain our spirits focusing on being active, staying connected, taking time out, saying no and also indulging now and again in a little of what does cheer us up!

You will leave with a realistic, practical and personalised toolbox for a wellbeing action plan to balance both the difficult and draining aspects of the season with those that bring comfort and joy!
