Does your movement practice change at different times of the year? Are there seasons where you have to drag yourself to the studio, and some where you have energy for multiple classes a day? Accepting these changes as they come, instead of pushing to train the same way all year round, can often lead to more breakthroughs and help us avoid burn out.
In this 90-minute autumn workshop, we'll be taking a break from drills and focus in on how our bodies want to move. We'll kickstart our curiosity through mindfulness practices, journaling, discussion, and end with exploratory time on our apparatus. While the exploration section will be facilitated with lyra in mind, students with a strong, independent grasp of another modality are warmly invited to join (such as pole or belly dance).
This class is $30 per person.
