While the world and seasons shift around us, so do our bodies and minds. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM/acupuncture), each season correlates with an organ, emotion, and element. You will learn about and experience these topics in our new seasonal workshop, “seasonal serenity.” Autumn relates to the lungs and large intestines, the emotion of grief, and the element of metal. Yin yoga and acupuncture both work with meridians, lines or channels of energy throughout the body. Like the leaves falling from the trees, in our autumn acupuncture + yin class, your body, mind, and spirit will be guided to release old stories and energy. You will walk away from seasonal serenity with more knowledge regarding how we change during each season and how to best help aid this change. Topics will also include best foods to eat in each season, how the organ in each season affects your emotions, and overall how to live seasonally.
