Seasonal Flower Painting - Fall Edition
Schedule
Sun Sep 29 2024 at 01:00 pm to 04:00 pm
Location
Molly Oliver Flowers | Brooklyn, NY
About this Event
This workshop will focus on flower painting using a non toxic oil painting method (acrylics will be available as well if preferred). Jessica will demonstrate and teach an all prima technique for flower painting an arrangement by Molly Oliver Flowers, or participants can create their own arrangement or simply paint one stem, whatever inspires!
The flower selection will include locally sourced fall beauties such as Celosia, Dahlia, Zinnias, Sunflowers, and more. Each participant will be guided through the process of starting and finishing a painting to take home and will also take home a small fall bouquet :)
Scroll down to see pics of the venue, a ferry map, the instructor, and some examples of flowers painted alla prima
(* alla prima = a painting done in one sitting; wet paint into wet paint)
Beginngers, intermediate, and advanced adult painters are all welcome. Instruction is "alla carte", take as much or as little as you like.
All supplies will be included (or feel free to bring your own if you prefer)
