"Season To Risk are one of the pioneers of the "noise rock" genre alongside Unsane and Helmet, putting out two major label albums on Sony Music in 1993 and 1995 both featuring artwork by the top in the industry at the time (Frank Kozik and Derek Hess). They toured non-stop from 1989 to 2003, recording and releasing The Shattering in 2001 with Jason Livermore and Bill Stevenson of the Descendents and All, on their Owned & Operated label.Then the band went on hiatus, playing a few shows each year. In 2019 and 2020 they self-released limited edition vinyl of their independent releases, and then in 2021 put out a rarities compilation cassette called 1-800-MELTDOWN in a run of 100 copies. In 2024 the band fully reformed and started playing longer tours. MELTDOWN was released on vinyl as a Record Store Day 2025 limited edition with glow in the dark artwork.
From the minds of Jason Blackmore (Molly McGuire) and Mario Quintero (Spotlights) comes sisters and their brand new album Wings of Deliverance, a concept album exploring the twisted legacy of cult leader Jim Jones.
Kansas City math-rock legends, Giants Chair open the show with a rare local performance.
