Vær med når Kunsthal Charlottenborg åbner dørene for efterårets to nye udstillinger med et brag af en sæsonåbning og afterparty fredag den 27. september. Fra kl. 17-21 kan du opleve udstillingerne 'Any Noise Annoys an Oyster' af Francis Upritchard samt den omfattende gruppeudstilling 'Poetics of Encryption'. Santino spiller i foyeren og Apollo Bar serverer gratis bobler til de 100 første gæster. Hele aftenen kan du købe øl, vin, drinks og dagens ret i Apollo Kantine.
Umiddelbart inden åbningen af udstillingen Poetics of Encryption vil kurator Nadim Samman og flere af de deltagende kunstnere give en introduktion til udstillingen, værkerne og tilblivelsesprocessen bag dem. Introduktionen finder sted i kunsthallens biograf, det er gratis at deltage og pladser fordeles efter først-til-mølle (adgang fra kl. 15.30).
Kl. 21 rykker festen videre til Black Box hos legendariske Culture Box. Her vil der være gratis entré mellem kl. 21-22, og frem til midnat kan du se frem til at opleve en række musikalske og visuelle performances, når Eliott Litrowski, Rhyw & Moritz Stumm LIVE A/V samt Alva Noto (DJ set) spiller til Afterparty: Poetics of Encryption x Culture Box.

Poetics of Encryption:
Kunsthal Charlottenborg er stolte af at præsentere årets store temaudstilling i tæt samarbejde med KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin. 'Poetics of Encryption' dykker ned i den mørke side af teknologi og kunstig intelligens og viser værker af 38 danske og internationale kunstnere, der spænder over analoge og digitale medier med både historiske og nye værker.

Join us when Kunsthal Charlottenborg opens its doors for the autumn season, featuring two new exhibitions and an after party on Friday, September 27th.
From 17.00 to 21.00, you can experience the two exhibitions ‘Any Noise Annoys an Oyster’ by Francis Upritchard and the comprehensive group exhibition ‘Poetics of Encryption’. Santino will be playing in the foyer, and Apollo Bar will serve free bubbles to the first 100 guests. Throughout the evening, you can purchase beer, wine, drinks, and the "dish of the day" at Apollo Kantine.
Just before the opening of the exhibition Poetics of Encryption, curator Nadim Samman and participating artists will give an introduction to the exhibition, the works and the creation process behind them. The introduction takes place in our cinema. It is free to participate and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis (doors open at 15.30).
At 21.00, the party moves on to the legendary Culture Box’s Black Box. Here, there will be free admission between 21.00 and 22.00, and until midnight, you can experience a series of musical and visual performances with Eliott Litrowski, Rhyw & Moritz Stumm LIVE A/V, and Alva Noto (DJ set) playing at the After party: Poetics of Encryption x Culture Box.

Look forward to experience the New Zealand-born sculptor Francis Upritchard unfold a world of mermaids, mythical creatures and eccentric figures in her first Scandinavian exhibition.
With more than 100 works, ranging from large-scale figurative sculptures to ceramics, blown glass vases, jewellery and diminutive beings, this comprehensive exhibition creates a space somewhere between ideas of our past and visions for a future. Kunsthal Charlottenborg presents this year's major group exhibition in close collaboration with KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Berlin.
