Season of Giving: Pack Pet Food for Families in Need

WHAT TO EXPECT:

Kids + Family Volunteers will work together to pack bags of dog food for pet owners who are unhoused or struggling to feed their pets.

Kid Volunteers will also write thoughtful, kind notes to include in the bags, adding a personal touch of care + support.

WHY IS THIS WORK IMPORTANT:

This hands-on volunteer work will benefit Cody's Friends.

Cody's Friends supports local pet owners who face challenges in feeding their pets by providing essential pet food + supplies. Their mission helps keep pets healthy + in their homes, easing the burden on families + promoting a compassionate, pet-friendly community.

KIND NOTES:

This volunteer project is for All Ages

• This in an in-person + outdoor event.
• We will be bagging outside of Cody's small warehouse, so please come prepared for the outdoor setting. We’ll keep an eye on the weather, but we’re hoping for a beautiful, sunny day!
• All supplies will be provided.
• A takeaway snack will be provided for the Kid Volunteers at the completion of the project.

WHY YOU'LL BE ASKED TO PAY A FAMILY REGISTRATION FEE:

With Tucson Family Volunteers (a 501(c)(3) organization), all you have to do is register for a project, show up on the day of the project + volunteer. The Family Registration Fee goes towards the purchase of every single item needed for Family Volunteers to successfully complete a particular give-back project. Including takeaway snacks for the Kid Volunteers!
