One of the biggest events of the PJBT Season is our DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS tournament. This major event draws in PJBT bowlers of past from college and regulars for a big Major Singles Event.
A new feature to our major event this year is to have 3 divisions competing. A New Girls Only Scratch Division have been added. Female bowlers are permitted to enter more than one division if they choose. (Can bowl in Overall Scratch & Scratch Girls or Handicap Division & Scratch Girls)
Scratch Division: Top Prize $700 Scholarship (based on entries)
Women's Only Division: Top Prize $300 Scholarship (based on entries)
Handicap Division: Top Prize $300 Scholarship (based on entries)
Entry Fee: $45 Members / $50 Non-Members - $60 Walk-in Entries
Membership Purchase: Any bowlers who purchase a PJBT Membership for the season receive a $5 discount at each singles & special announced events this year. If you plan to bowl in 7 or more events during the year -- you can purchase the membership for $35 to save on entry fee throughout the entire season.
Format: Each bowler will bowl 6 qualifying games for our singles major format. After 6 games, the top 40% of each division will advance to Round 2. Round 2 Bowlers will bowl match play. Top Bowlers after Round 2 advance to Finals format will be announced at event.
