Berks Sinfonietta opens its 13th season in epic fashion! Our August 22nd performance features the two winners of the 2nd Annual Scholarship Competition:
Joshua Griffith
Grade: Senior
Instrument: Cello
Dvořák: Cello Concerto in B minor, Op. 104, Mvt. 1
Grace Campling
Grade: Junior
Instrument: Bass
Serge Koussevitzky: Double Bass Concerto, Op. 3, Mvts. 1 and 2
Rounding out the concert is Johannes Brahms' Symphony No. 1 in C minor, Op. 68, a piece that took the composer 18 years to write.
Come support these two terrific high school students and enjoy an evening of thrilling music. The performance takes place Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 7:30 pm, at Atonement Lutheran Church, Wyomissing, PA.
General admission tickets are $30 at the door and only $25 when you buy online. Students are $5. Children under 18 are FREE.
