Join Paan for a special cooking class that blends inspiration from travel, personal discovery, and fresh flavors. During a visit to a small restaurant in Thailand, Paan tasted a beautifully simple yet unforgettable dish—scallops sautéed with garlic and butter, served alongside a crisp salad with a vibrant ginger dressing. Curious about the flavors and techniques, Paan spoke with the restaurant owner, who generously shared the inspiration and cooking approach behind the dish.
Inspired by that experience, Paan adapted the recipe in her own style, bringing together the sweetness of fresh scallops with the rich aroma of garlic and butter. In this class, you will learn how to gently sear scallops until they develop a golden crust while keeping the inside tender and delicate. To complement the scallops, we will also prepare a refreshing garden salad with Japanese-style ginger dressing. Made with fresh ginger, vegetables, and a light tangy dressing, the salad adds brightness and balance to the meal. Together, these dishes reflect the beauty of cooking that comes from travel, conversation, and shared knowledge. This class invites you not only to cook but also to experience the story behind the food.
Come cook, taste, and enjoy a dish inspired by a memorable moment in Thailand.
