Hailing from Central Florida, Sean was born at a very young age in the summer of 1984. He is one of 8 children, all of which were homeschooled by their mother. He learned the value of hard work from his father, working for the family business when he was old enough to push a vacuum cleaner. As a young boy, he discovered his passion for music and the particularly the guitar. He spent his teenage years playing for his church where he honed his skills on the guitar and also found his voice.
Holcomb has already charmed crowds with his soulful voice and outright honest lyrics. Often compared to the likes of Chris Stapleton, Jamey Johnson, and Travis Tritt, Holcomb is bringing a fresh new ‘old’ vibe to country music with his original songwriting. Holcomb’s lyrics are drawn from the time he spent as a former cattle rancher in southern Colorado as well as from his experiences with “love, heartbreak, loss, joy, and redemption.”
Not only has Holcomb been recognized as the “Best Country Act” of 2019 and “Best Country Act – Runner Up” of 2018, but he has also received awards for his songwriting as the winner of the JVC Broadcasting Wolf 103.1 Songwriter Rounds Competition in 2016.
Holcomb is no stranger to the stage. In a short time he has shared the stage with names such as John Anderson, Daryle Singletary, Rhett Akins, Lucero, Kenny Chesney, Mo Pitney, The Cadillac Three, LoCash, Thomas Rhett, and many more.
Holcomb’s newest material is ‘all original’ and ‘all country’ With songs like American Dream, that would seem tailor fitted for the 2020 experience, the hit-the-road anthem My Way or the Highway, his incredible writing signature on Let You Leave, the heart-puller Drinking for Two, and the barnburner South of the South, he is an artist and songwriter worth standing up for in today's country music landscape.
