About this Event
is the capstone accelerator program at UT Austin as it drives the top startups from across campus to confront the next market-defined go or no-go decision.
SEAL matches each team with industry-specific mentors and leads discussions with experienced entrepreneurs and technical experts to get the real-world insights on the most common early stage Go / No-Go decisions.
We invite you to attend our in-person Decision Day on August 1 from 3-7 pm CST.
This event is free and open to the public

2024 COHORT
Our SEAL 2024 cohort includes eleven UT Austin startup teams:
ArcLink offers a centralized patient file system that uses AI scanning to read and update information from different EHR systems.
Auracy provides a content curation platform for users to discover, capture, and share insightful clips from video podcasts.
Biotascape teaches science concepts while students physically engage with their environment through a wild forge "edu-tainment" adventure.

Kumtrya helps growing content creators tap into more profitable, sustainable, and passive recurring revenue models through a SaaS platform.
Locol allows small businesses to hire student freelancers at an affordable price, and leverages the power of the gig-economy through an online marketplace.

ABOUT SEAL
Now in its 16th year, alumni have raised over $200M in investment and generated over $500M in value. Notable alumni include Favor (acquired by HEB), M87 (acquired by XCOM), Lynx Labs (acquired by Occipital), Accordion Health (acquired by Evolent Health), Disco Learning Media (acquired by ProBility Media), Ordoro, Rabbet, Apptronik, EQO, Flo Recruit and Elite Sweets.
Most startups participating in SEAL have removed significant scientific or technical risk through lab prototypes, pilot deployments, or early sales. Given that, most Go / No-Go Decisions center on “scalability” questions around the core business model components.
