Seakayak Surfing and Greenland Rolling 2023

Want to learn how to use your sea kayak in the surf and use efficient rolling techniques in rough water conditions?

Join Simon Osborne and How We Roll for a weekend of Greenland rolling and sea kayak surf skills. We will find suitable surf conditions along the Cornish coastline and work on beginner and advanced surf skills. This course is for kayakers who have a basic understanding of kayak rolling but want to make their rolling more reliable and fun. Simon is one of the best sea kayaking coaches available with an incredible knowledge of techniques and tactics in the surf environment.

The course will run from 9:00 – 16:00 each day and we will work individually with all participants to reach their goals.

The most likely location will be the Hayle estuary (Carbis Bay, Gwithian, Godrevy), but this will depend on the swell forecast for the weekend. We may teach rolling on the first day and surfing on the second day or split the group each day depending on the conditions.
