Join The Mission to Seafarers for a Seafarer Roundtable Workshop supporting the Sustainable Shipping Initiative’s Vessel Welfare & Wellbeing Recognition Framework.

This interactive workshop invites seafarers to share their lived experiences, insights, and practical recommendations on key welfare and wellbeing issues affecting life at sea. Discussions will explore themes such as joining a ship, life onboard, support during difficult situations, trust, respect, and speaking up.

The session is not an inspection or complaint forum. Participants are asked not to identify specific companies, ships, or individuals. Instead, the workshop will focus on gathering honest, anonymous feedback, examples of good practice, barriers to better welfare, and ideas that can help improve support across the maritime industry.
Who should attend: Experienced seafarers who are willing to share their experiences and contribute practical ideas to improve welfare and wellbeing at sea.
