Come join historian and musician Andreas Transø for a Sea Shanty Song Circle! Songbooks provided! No experience necessary! Shanties and work songs, maritime music, river music, and playful joke songs from around the Upper Midwest and the world. A great way to learn history and experience our shared humanity through story and song.The Stoughton Sea Shanty Society Roving Song Circle has been making appearances in venues and community centers from Dubuque to Milwaukee, engaging with folks of all ages.
