Getting out in your kayak is a great way to refresh and reset, but it’s even more fun when sharing it with others! Bring your kayak and join us for this rejuvenating group paddle. We will adjust the route and pace dependent on weather, conditions, and the collective group’s ability.

ACTIVITY LEVEL: Easy.

WHERE TO MEET: Meet us in the upper parking lot at the Mere Point Boat Launch.

WHAT TO BRING: Sea kayak (with two bulkheads, at least 13 feet long), personal flotation device (PFD), whistle, paddle, appropriate clothing (layers; no cotton), closed-toed shoes, snacks, water, personal medications.

OPTIONAL RECOMMENDED ITEMS: Spray skirt, drybag with an extra warm layer, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen.

This outing takes place exclusively outside, so while masks are not required, we do ask participants to practice social distancing by keeping six feet apart. If you are not feeling well, have Covid-19 symptoms or have been in contact with someone experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, we ask that you please stay home.
