Children and youth do not get enough time to draw because they are so busy with studies and gadgets. Due to that, children are stressed, leading to poor health and depression. A scientific survey also found that around 14 per cent of 15 to 24-year-olds in India, or around one in seven, reported often feeling depressed or having little interest in doing things. Pictures drawn very small could mean they are shy. If the hands are too big, this could indicate aggression. If there are no hands or small hands, this could mean they have an inferiority feeling.
One of the solutions for this problem is Drawing, so SEA TRUST took intitative to gather all the city’s future artists together and “SEA AS WE SEE”. They draw because it is a positive outlet of emotions. The motto is to ignite creativity, self expression and Problem Solving Skills .
The main goal of this competition is to create awareness about Vast Marine Life Biodiversity, No Plastic, Clean and Blue Environment”. That is not the only motivation though. But also, to set up the little steps for long term health and success.
