Sea & Self Sanctuary - ALASKA

How long are you going to keep watching other people visit the places you always dreamed about seeing?
Alaska is one of those places.
The glaciers. The mountains. Whales breaking the surface. Tiny towns tucked beneath enormous landscapes. Standing on the deck of a ship and looking out at something so breathtaking that, for a moment, everyone just stops talking.
I've seen the photos too.
But I don't want to see Alaska through someone else's Facebook feed anymore.
I want to see it with my own two eyes.
And on May 8, 2027, I finally will.
I'm taking Sea & Self Sanctuary to Alaska and I'm bringing a small group of women with me.
We'll sail from Vancouver aboard Holland America's beautiful Koningsdam for seven days through the Inside Passage, visiting Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, sailing into Tracy Arm and spending an unforgettable day in Glacier Bay.
But this isn't simply a cruise booking.
Sea & Self Sanctuary is a hosted small-group cruise experience for women, and for Alaska there are just eight places.
We'll start connecting before we ever step onboard, so you don't need to worry about arriving alone and knowing nobody.
Once we're sailing, there'll be Sanctuary Conversations, little daily Sea & Self thoughts & prompts, your own Alaska Keepsake Book, dinners, conversations, laughter and those spontaneous moments you could never put on an itinerary.
And there'll also be plenty of freedom.
Explore a port your way. Book the excursion you've always dreamed about. Find a quiet spot with a coffee. Sit on deck and stare at the mountains. Disappear for a nap if you bloody-well want to. 😂
Come alone. Bring your sister. Bring your mum. Bring your best friend. But you don't need a travel buddy to say yes to this one.
And yes, Alaska IS a bigger holiday. It may take some saving and planning.
But I keep thinking about the version of us who gets to 87 and looks back at the things we did - and the things we kept saying we'd do "one day."
There are some experiences I don't want to leave sitting on that list.
Alaska is one of mine.
On May 8, 2027, I'll walk into Canada Place in Vancouver, look up at those enormous white sails, board the Koningsdam and finally take the cruise I first dreamed about taking almost four years earlier.
Maybe you'll be walking in beside me. 💗
